Askania, one of the most unique designs from the Altuzarra Fall 2023 runway show, features an intricate pattern reminiscent of the iconic Rorschach inkblot test. Artfully printed on fine Suri Alpaca fibers by an esteemed Italian fashion mill with a heritage dating back to 1848, this print boasts exceptional design with a luxurious hand. Elements in the original print were created using a series of authentic inkblot techniques that involve pouring ink on paper, folding and pressing to eventually reveal an organic and imperfect print each time. This stunning and thought-provoking print on soft Suri Alpaca masterfully integrates a palpably elevated texture with the fluidity and interpretive nature of the design, making it a bold statement for any modern interior.
